Ruta Birgere

Born in Riga, May 07, 1924. Education: Riga city high-school Nr 2. Has been a book seller and a quality tester in „VEF" - the largest manufacturer of audio engineering within the former USSR". Studied Romance philology. Has worked in Latvian Drama Theatre, but since 1950 has been working in Valmiera Drama theatre. Delicate and feminine artist who can sparkle energy and witticism on the stage.
