Baiba Valante

Date of Birth: March 12, 1954. Finished Jekabpils Secondary school (1972) and since that has worked in Valmiera Drama theatre. At the beginning as prompter playing bit-parts but later performing notable whole spectrum characters, that gain appreciation in yearly Latvian theatre parade and prove the idea that success does not mean only the talent but also hard and determined work.

Baiba participates in the International Theatre Association for Children and Young People ASSITEJ. She has a good command in Swedish and due to that she cooperates with Riksteatern in Stockholm.
