Astra Baumane

Born in Riga. Education: Riga Secondary School Nr.2 (1956), Department of Drama at Latvian State Conservatoire (1970). Exercised at the Ballet dtudio under the guidance of J.Pankrate un A.Lembergs. Valmiera Drama theatre actree since 1958. Emotional but at the same time temperate performer. In her roles has accented hrartiness, positive ideals and generosity.
